Matthew 13:31-31<\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[vc_single_image image=&#8221;8223&#8243; img_size=&#8221;2000X600&#8243; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;fadeIn&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>School Meals<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We are proud to provide healthy and nutritious meals on our school site where St Bartholomew&#8217;s continues to hold a 5-star food hygiene certificate.\u00a0 Each day, all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are automatically provided with a free school meal under the Universal Infant Free School Meal programme funded by the government.\u00a0 Children in Key Stage 2 who are not entitled to Benefits Related Free Schools Meals are able to have school lunches paid for their parents or carers.<\/p>\n<p>Each day children are offered a choice of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a vegetarian or meat based hot school meal<\/li>\n<li>a jacket potato with filling<\/li>\n<li>a choice from our range of sandwiches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to this, they have the choice of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a hot pudding<\/li>\n<li>fruit<\/li>\n<li>yogurt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Representatives from our children periodically get involved in tasting meals to help produce the menus. Their views led to a recent introduction of Fish and Chip Friday!<\/p>\n<p>All allergies and special dietary requirements are catered for. Parents and carers are asked to contact the school office to discuss individual requirements.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>What are Free School Meals?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is a clear difference between Universal Infant Free School Meals and Benefits Related Free School Meals.
