Valuing Strong Partnerships Across The Quantock Education Trust and Community
As a proud member of the Quantock Education Trust and the Crewkerne and Ilminster Schools Partnership (CISP), we deeply value the strong, collaborative relationships we share with other schools. These partnerships are central to our mission of providing the very best education for children aged 4–16 across our community.
Our staff take active roles in leading, supporting, and participating in regular meetings with colleagues from across the Trust and Partnership. These meetings bring together subject leaders, headteachers, and other professionals to:
- Share and co-develop high-quality teaching resources
- Explore strategies to strengthen learning outcomes
- Reflect on practice and support professional growth
Shared Events and Enriched Experiences
Our partnership schools work together to offer a vibrant calendar of shared events, including sports competitions, arts festivals, and enrichment activities. These experiences give children the opportunity to connect with peers from other schools, explore new environments, and celebrate learning beyond the classroom.
Through these events, we also focus on developing key character virtues such as teamwork, resilience, respect, and empathy. Whether on the sports field, in a performance, or during collaborative projects, children are encouraged to grow in confidence and character—preparing them not just for academic success, but for life beyond school.
Continuity and Communication
We work closely with our secondary school colleagues to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of learning. Strong communication systems are in place to support children and families every step of the way.
Committed to Collective Excellence
Teachers and leaders across our schools are united in their commitment to learning from one another and sharing good practice. By pooling our expertise and facilities, we broaden the opportunities available to every child—helping them to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
