St. Bartholomew’s CE Primary School is a thriving Crewkerne town school. We are looking to appoint an motivated, resilient and inspirational class teacher to work as part of our dedicated teaching team.

We are looking for a candidate who is:

• an outstanding practitioner with high expectations of pupil attainment, progress and behaviour
• confident in teaching and assessing early reading and writing skills
• has experience of teaching in KS1 and KS2

Requires a Catering Assistant to start ASAP or 3rd January 2024

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and caring person to join our team of dedicated staff as part of the catering assistant team.

This role involves:

-Preparing the dining and food service areas

-Carrying out food safety checks, monitoring and completion of paperwork in line with Safer Food, Better Business

-Completing cleaning and waste disposal tasks

-Processing orders, receiving and unpacking deliveries

-Preparing the food for lunches

-Cooking pre-prepared food in the ovens

-Stock taking and ordering food

-Helping to create and maintain a calm atmosphere whilst the children eat

We are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to start ASAP or 3rd January 2024 or as soon as possible after this date.

The role is offered for a Thursday and Friday 10am-2pm – Term time only.

Initially the contract will be offered on a temporary fixed term basis to 31/08/25 when the hours will be reviewed according to need.

Salary – Grade: 16 Point 2
